Team Cheer before a high school meet

Team cheer before a meet at Obama with the Schenley backstroke flags. No swimming in 2020-21 season, so far, for us.

Grant at Cape of Good Hope

The pandemic stretches across the world, even all the way to the tip of South Africa. The Southern Cape is being hit hard, as is LA and -- well -- everywhere.

Grant and Pop Pop. Dad has departed us last month. His passing came without him being infected with Covid-19, but he felt as if he was in a prison for much of 2020.

Thumbs up with CAR kids

But come 2021, we'll be back. Not as young as we once were, but thumbs up for the future. Our kids are going to need to play together again. And, we'll all need to make playing well with others a top priority.

We get to bike in 2020. But there were not any bike races at the oval this summer. Expect more talk of drugs and science and medicine and vaccines in the weeks and months to come. Hope the steroids and PEDs are not part of the discussions. Stay safe and well. Of course, helmets are worn too.
