Day one of WPIAL AA Meet, 2 qualifiers from Obama

Email from Mark Rauterkus 7:43 PM (0 minutes ago) Hi Mike, FYI: After the swims today, Obama is going to have a boy and a girl at the PIAA Meet. Day 2 on Friday. Looking ahead, possible scenerio: 1. Investigation ends, and I'm permitted to coach again. 2. I take boy swimmer to PIAA meet. 3. Coach Steph can take girl swimmer to PIAA meet. 4. We can go together or apart -- as I don't care. 5. My name should get put onto the PIAA entry form one way or another. It would be easist to do this on Friday while the paperwork is in WPIAL hands rather than a letter via PPS and WPIAL to PIAA later. Reminder, in 2017 I took a girl and a guys to PIAA meet without another coach because the Obama Girls Coach QUIT and didn't attend day 2 of WPIAL Championships, when the swimmer qualified. Having 2 coaches at states, as there are 2 different meets, one for boys and one for girls, is much, much better as the kids are on different timelines. 6. Upon a return from PIAA meet, I'll resign from Obama and promise to not work as a coach if and when Ms. Colbert is the school principal and / or Ms Macklin is the athletic coordinator. PS: Reminder, this would be the 9th consecutive year I have coached swimmers at PIAA Meet for PPS.

Coach writes again on Friday morning

Hi Mike, In my email to you, POINT #1 -- at the top -- right in the beginning I wrote: 1. Investigation ends, and I'm permitted to coach again. So, those numbered points are MULTIPLE STEPS in the same scenario. Therefore, .... What? By the way, isn't it GREAT that the PPS kids are doing so well. Relays. School records. Those things have importance. THUMBS UP! Cheers! Oh well. Another day of the meet today, and we'll see how Noah, the PPS guy with adversity (of being coach-less and prohibited from swimming AM practices) performs. I'll send another email update of the results to you later tonight.
