Marketing the ISCA Summit – ideas via the Coaching Hotline Call

2021-07-16 · Status: publish · Business, Clinics, ISCA, Industry, video

Background

These two blokes from the UK fielded my question in a hotline call. The marketing question for the ISCA Summit presses.

Suggestions

ISCA's reveal of Hall of Fame inductees on a weekly basis is something that they advise too. Spot on.

Being more transparent as a suggestion is something that I crave so as to further the cause.

Next steps

  1. It would help if the uncovered objections were noted in the comment section of this post. Why are the sign-ups so light?
  2. I'll build out the email campaign they mentioned. But, it might be too little, too late.
  3. Keep me in the loop. For example, this was another week without a meeting. Ugh.
  4. Perhaps a series of webinars / Facebook Live conversations can happen in the days to come with each of the new Hall of Fame members. I'd not want to take away thunder from the banquet, however. So, I'd stick to superficial chatter and personal updates with each person. Where are they living now? For example, Bob Steele lives in Canada. Another in Mexico. Where did they grow up?Who were their first coaches as a youngster?Who else is coming to the event? A spouse? How did they handle the lockdowns of the pandemic? What future events and activities are they looking forward to enjoying in retirement? What questions are your looking to ask of others while at the ISCA Summit? Those are 'getting to know you questions.' Those interviews could form a bit of a primer and help to advance our in-person conversations once we gather at the event. I think Jeff should do those interviews.
  5. I'm still wondering about all the other points I've raised recently and in the past.
