SIM and WordPress versions being updated

       Thank you for contacting Pair Networks. The Software InstallationManager is not some form of A.I. When you use the PairSIM to installWordPress it records where the install is, what software and version wereinstalled, and a few other details in a static file. If you then log intoyour WordPress web site and update WordPress from the WordPress dashboard,the install is updated, but the static file used by the PairSIM stillthinks you are on the older version.        If the software version recorded in that static file is lower thanthe currently offered version, the Account Control Center notifies you whenyou log in. There are three basic ways to address the login warnings.1) Always upgrade WordPress from the PairSIM so the static file is alwaysupdated with what you are actually running.2) Upgrade WordPress from the WordPress dashboard. Then when you get intothe Account Control Center the next time, either ignore the warnings, orvisit the PairSIM and tell it to perform the updates. If you are already onthe newer version, no software would be updated, just the PairSIM staticfile.3) Disable the PairSIM when not needed. If you disable the PairSIM, thesoftware installed by it remains in place. You can then administer theWordPress updates from the WordPress dashboard. If you need to install anew WordPress, simply re-enable the PairSIM, install the software, thendisable it again.        The WordPress install at ammon.4rs.org is actually out of date. Itis currently 5.7.2, according to the WordPress CLI.        As for the mechanize error, the logs indicate that the PairSIM wasunable to submit log into the WordPress admin interface. This usually meansthere is a security plugin in place limiting access to the WordPressdashboard.
