Plans for summer are starting to hatch. Invites are for your consideration. Feel free to pass this along to others in your network as well.

School-age swimmers (and their guardians) throughout the region who are interested in playing organized, competitive water polo are being called to an organizational meeting from 7:30 to 8:30 pm on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at the swim pool lobby of Mt. Lebanon High School. The South Park Aquatic Club is going to expand and host the new water polo club and accept participants from any school. This is Pittsburgh’s COMBINED team for boys and girls in high school and middle school. More details then.

After the meeting on 5/31, join in for Underwater Hockey, 8:30 pm, most Thursdays at Mt. Lebo’s indoor HS pool.

On from 5 to 7 pm on June 1 and again on June 7, 2018, our fun aquatic team game, SKWIM, is going to be shared with the swimmers on the Greensburg Country Club team.

I’m willing and able to bring along equipment and go to your area swim pool or lake-front and meet with your team, campers or groups to conduct a clinic and organize some games. Call or email me to schedule a visit. Water safety, sportsmanship, teamwork, and fun are all guaranteed.

To experience SKWIM at our indoor city pool, adults and kids are welcome join us from 11:30 am to 1 pm on Saturday, June 2, 2018, at our final Saturday Swim School of the school year at the Northside’s Oliver High School. See https://Swim.CLOH.org/saturdays/

HOUSE Concert & Music with our guitar-playing, songwriting friend from Austin, Texas, Kyia Hartman, Thursday, June 12, 2018, at our home. Limited space, wonderful tunes and talent. Just $15 per to performer. So talented.

Outdoor water polo at Citiparks Ammon Rec Center pool in The Hill District happens from 6 to 7:45 pm every Tuesday and Thursday, weather permitting, starting June 19.

Save the date for our annual July 4th open house when sit around and hold a group reflection on the most fantastic and inspirational the June 12th house concert.

Techie types, save Saturday, September 22, 2018, for Pittsburgh’s WordCamp, a one-day community event about the open-source WordPress software.

Tomorrow wraps up the membership vote for President Elect of the American Academy of Audiology. I’ll be holding my breath — when playing Underwater Hockey, and that’s about it. =;-0
