Audrey McElligott Rauterkus

Audrey, age 89, passed peacefully with her family at her side on Sunday, 4/28/24, while under the long term care of LSL Passavant Community.

She was preceded in death by her husband and love of her life of 64 years-Leo, her parents – Bill and Dorothy McElligott and her brothers – Billy and Jerry McElligott. She is survived by her sister Pat (Roy Kaiser) and numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Her legacy is her children and their spouses:

  • Mark (Catherine Palmer),
  • Mary Lee (Phil Majewski),
  • Margie (Bill Guyer),
  • Geri Ann (John McLaughlin) and
  • Michele (Kevin Brickner).

Her pride, joy and absolute adoration as their Nana were her 15 grandchildren and great grandson.

Audrey was a woman of deep faith, endless positivity and bountiful love. She was happiest when playing bridge, visiting friends, swimming and traveling (especially to Disney World).

We would like to thank the staff and her many friends at Passavant and In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to LSL Passavant Community or mail donations to Lutheran SeniorLife Foundation, 300 West Beaver Street Zelienople, PA 16063.

Viewing will be at Devlin Funeral Home in Cranberry Township from 4-7pm on Thursday, May 2nd and the Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday May 3 at 11am at Divine Grace Parish, St. Ferdinand Church.

A Celebration of Life will be in summer of 2024. Join us at the barn at Knob Hill Park after 11 am for a lunch and afternoon gathering on Sunday, August 11, 2024.

Please remember Audrey with random acts of kindness, plenty of smiles, hugs and dancing at every opportunity.
